What is The Locker Stop?
The Locker Stop is a 100% automated luggage storage service that allows you to rent a locker at any time of the year, quickly and easily.
How do I use the luggage storage?
Very easy! Make your reservation, receive the access codes to the storage facility and locker, store your belongings and enjoy the day in Barcelona. The entire process is automatic and 100% secure.
What locker sizes are available?
- S (30 × 30 × 50 cm / 45 L): ideal for two backpacks, a motorcycle helmet or clothing items.
- M (40 × 60 × 50 cm / 120 L): perfect for 2 carry-on suitcases or 1 carry-on suitcase + 2 backpacks. Our most popular option.
- L (60 × 90 × 50 cm / 270 L): enough space for a giant suitcase.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, we recommend booking if you want to ensure you have a locker available on the day you plan to use the service. If you need to book on the spot, you’ll find a QR code on the door of the premises that will allow you to do so instantly. Additionally, we have free WiFi so you can manage your reservation quickly and conveniently.
What if I have a problem?
What can I store inside the lockers?
In your locker you can store everything that fits inside, as long as it is not on our list of prohibited items. Remember: you pay per locker, not per item, so you can put several suitcases, backpacks or bags inside the same locker as long as they fit comfortably.
What cannot be stored in the lockers?
- Illegal objects or those whose possession requires a license without authorization (weapons, ammunition, drugs, stolen material, degrading content, etc.).
- Dangerous or contaminating substances (flammable, chemical, toxic).
- Animals or other living beings.
- Food, except packaged food without risk of spillage, stains or odors.
Are the luggage storage lockers safe?
Yes, completely. The Locker has video surveillance cameras and alarm systems connected to a Surveillance Center connected with the Police 24 hours a day.
Is there any guarantee in case of loss or damage to my luggage?
The Locker Stop lockers are protected by CCTV cameras 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
In the event of an incident at The Locker Stop premises, we have taken out an insurance policy for users with AXA Seguros Generales that covers losses due to damage and/or theft (for causes attributable to the company “The Locker Stop”) up to a limit of €600 per locker (a police report must be filed beforehand). This policy does not cover the loss of money, jewelry, precious stones or metals, valuable or collectible items, works of art, live animals, hazardous materials, memory cards or any other media containing data or images. Theft is not covered if the locker has not been properly locked.
Additionally, we especially recommend that you do not store your travel documents (plane tickets, train tickets, etc.) or personal documentation (passport, driving license, etc.) in the locker. If you do so, they would be stored in any case under your own responsibility.
